Registration for the new Hamilton Minor Hockey Council Initiation Program (youth between 4 and 6 yrs old) will be held May 31, 2012 - 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. and June 23, 2012 - 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 (noon) at the Dave Andreychuk Mountain Arena (Hester Street entrance). The following is based on a cost per player assuming a full compliment of 16 players per team

Ice costs based on 22 week season   $160.00
Sweater and Socks   $60.00
Team fees (coaches insurance) based on 3/team   $7.50

Total team related cost per player =     $296.94 each
     

Additional costs to run an association that are not included in the above as follows.

Forms- game sheets, travel permits.
Super Saturday expenses- Ice, referees, trophies, etc.
Meeting costs- room rentals, etc
City Championships- year end entry fee for tournament.
Equipment repair and purchase- goalie equipment, pucks, etc.
Office expense- Phone, fax, computer, photocopier, paper supplies, etc.

     
These could average out to approx $35.00/player
